Description

Arrive in Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, the most populated city in India, and the fifth most populated city in the world. In this city visit The Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive, Nariman Point & Crawford Market. Evening visit the Juhu & Chaupati Beaches and do some shopping. Next morning you will be taken by ferry on a half-day tour of the Elephanta Caves. Move to the North of India, where you will visit three important cities in North India   Delhi, Agra and Jaipur and be amazed by their history, monuments, architecture and fine attractions as you relive the imposing past at the majestic India Gate, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, & Jama Masjid in Delhi. The City of Love Agra, will emotionally win you over with one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Noor Jehan’s most majestic mausoleum – The Taj Mahal!! En route to Agra, visit Akbar-the- Great’s Tomb. On the way to Jaipur, drop by the Mughal emperor Akbar’s once-upon-a-time and short-lived capital Fathepur Sikri. Move on to Jaipur, the Pink City, where one of the highlights is a ride on an elephant to the top of the majestic Amber Fort. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the Albert Hall Museum. You will return to Delhi to fly to Varanasi also known as Benaras, famous for its beautiful silk fabric. Hindus from all over the world visit Varanasi to take a dip in the Holy Ganga. Visit Sarnath where Gautama Buddha the primary figure in Buddhism, gave his first sermon. In the evening and following morning you will take a boat ride on the River Ganges to witness rituals of death and everyday living along the banks of the Holy Ganga.     Arrive Mumbai

    Upon arrival and immigration and customs clearance at the Mumbai International Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy A Welcome Dinner. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel D


    Day2

    Mumbai

    After breakfast in the Hotel, explore the commercial capital of India & visit The Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Marine Drive, Nariman Point & Crawford Market. Evening visit the Juhu & Chaupati Beaches and do some shopping. Overnight at Hotel. B


    Day3

    Mumbai-Delhi

    Enjoy your buffet breakfast in the Hotel and go on a half-day tour of the Elephanta Caves by ferry. Later as per your scheduled time transfer to Mumbai Airport to board your flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi, transfer to the Hotel and check-in. Overnight at the Hotel. B


    Day4

    Delhi

    Morning after breakfast, visit Old and New Delhi, with a tour of India Gate, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and drive past Parliament & the President House. Overnight at the Hotel B


    Day5

    Delhi-Agra

    After breakfast, drive to Agra (210kms). En-route visit Sikandra (Akbar`s Tomb). Arrive at Agra & check in to your Hotel. Later explore Agra Fort & the world famous monument, The Taj Mahal, also enlisted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Overnight at the Hotel. B


    Day6

    Agra-Jaipur

    Enjoy your breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to Jaipur (240 kms). En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, founded the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Arrive in Jaipur and check into the Hotel. Later visit the Jantar Mantar (Observatory built in 1724) & the grand Birla Temple. Overnight at the Hotel. B


    Day7

    Jaipur

    After buffet breakfast in the coffee shop at the Hotel, explore the City of Kings, also known as The Pink City & visit the Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, City Palace, Albert Hall museum & Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride up Amber Fort. Evening free for Traditional Indian Jewellery & Fabric Shopping.  Overnight at the Hotel. B


    Day8

    Jaipur-Delhi-Varansi

    Enjoy your buffet breakfast in the Hotel. Later and as per schedule transfer to Delhi (265 kms) Airport to board the flight for Varanasi (Benaras.) Arrive Varanasi, transfer and check into the Hotel. Evening free to explore the shopping areas of Varanasi. Overnight at Hotel. B


    Day9

    Varansi

    Arrive in Varanasi, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. After buffet breakfast in the coffee shop of the Hotel leave for the Banaras City Tour & visit Temples like Kashi Vishwanath old Temple, Durga Kund Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and a visit to the University. Next visit Sarnath where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon,.Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Zoo, Museum, Buddha statue, Dhamek Stupa & archeological sites. Return to the hotel and relax until the evening when the driver will take you to explore the River Ganges in a Boat Ride & participate in River Ganges traditional Arti. During the sightseeing our Driver will take you to the Varanasi (Banaras) Silk Sari & Weaving Center. Banaras is famous for its silk and zari work.


    Day10

    Varansi Onward

    As per your scheduled time, transfer to the Varanasi Airport to board you flight onward.
